Purpose of the meeting
1. To clarify names and events for selling
2. To think through plans for regular shop in the Don Bosco foyer in the new term
3. To have a discussion about linking with St Joseph’s and Mount on fair trade.

Fair Trade Minutes March 17th 2009
The group was reminded of the successful Reebok day when Thornleigh led workshops for w town-wide event on fair trade and the banana record attempt.
Contracts- some members still need to return their signed contracts
Two dates have been recognised for selling-
Thursday 2nd April and Friday 3rd April
The stall layout was demonstrated and the need for a float and security for the money when selling at events
A draft list of fair trade items was circulated to introduce the idea of selling Fairtrade products to staff groups around the school. This will be put on the next agenda.
The possibility of fair trade continuing a regular shop in the style of the St Joseph’s penny set up was discussed and will be referred to Mrs O’Callaghan for permission
Mr Crompton will put materials on to the Fairtrade web site when Fr David gets the Reebok pictures to him.
